1. Acceptance of Terms

These Terms are published by CocoReader ("we", "us"). By downloading, installing, or using the CocoReader apps, or by using this website, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the apps or the site.

2. The service

CocoReader is a set of apps and this website that turn EPUB ebooks you import into on-device audio. CocoReader is provided for personal, non-commercial use on your own devices.

3. Accounts

CocoReader uses Firebase Authentication. You may create or sign in to an account with Apple, Google, or email. You are responsible for the credentials you use and for activity on your account. To delete your account, use https://www.cocoreader.cc/contact.

4. Subscriptions

CocoReader offers optional subscriptions. Superwall is used for paywall display and subscription status. Payment is charged to your Apple ID through the App Store. Subscriptions automatically renew unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You manage or cancel auto-renewal in your Apple ID settings (Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions).

Prices, billing periods, and any trial are shown in the app and on the App Store at the time of purchase. Those displayed terms control. Refunds are handled by Apple under Apple's refund rules.

5. Privacy

How we collect and use information is described in our Privacy Policy. Your books and generated audio stay on your device. We do not upload book files or audio to CocoReader servers. We do not sell personal information.

6. Your content

You retain all rights to the ebooks you import. By using CocoReader, you confirm that you have the legal right to convert those ebooks to audio for your private listening.

7. Disclaimer of warranties

CocoReader is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. We do not guarantee that the apps or website will be error-free or uninterrupted.

8. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, CocoReader is not liable for damages arising out of your use or inability to use the apps or this website.

9. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of CocoReader after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms. The date at the bottom will change when we update them.
